Welcome to the course support center for participants moving through courses developed by PEERS. Thanks for your interest in the empowering course you have chosen. This help page will explain a few things you might want to know about using what's available in this course support center.
We recommend that you bookmark this support center as a favorite. Most people find it useful to bookmark their personal profile page, which is the one available at the "My home" link. Once you've done so, you can simply go to the Favorites or Bookmarks drop down menu in your Internet browser to go straight to your personal profile page whenever you need to find a link for the lesson on which you are working or to move to the next lesson. You will find the links to all lessons for which you've given feedback plus the next one listed in the right column of your personal profile page.
We have a number of guides available to support you on your journey through the course. All of these guides have completed the course and are exceptional members of our team. Whenever you have any questions or would like some support, don't hesitate to click on the "New message" link in the left column box at the top of any page and write a message. Choose a type of message from the dropdown menu provided, and leave the status of your message as "Open" when you submit it.
Once you've submitted a message, one of our guides will likely get back to you within 24 hours. When a guide responds to your message, you will automatically receive an email alerting you to this response. The email will provide a link. When you click on the link in this email, it will take you to a log in page and then directly to your message and the guide's response.
The guide who responds to your message will either leave the status of your message set to open, so that other guides can also add a response, or closed, which means the guide feels your message has been answered and needs no more attention. You can also change the status of a message from closed to open if you would like responses from other guides.
Once you've finished the last lesson of the course and submitted your feedback, please click here and select "I've completed the course " from the drop down menu before clicking "Apply." A course administrator will then have the necessary information emailed to you to enter the community networking portal. This is not an automatic function, so it may take a day or two before your request is completed. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful community portal where you can join in the many rich conversations and meet some of the great people on our team.
Change email reminder
We have an automatic service that sends you an email reminder if you have not visited this support center for the amount of time you select. You can also choose not to receive any reminders. The default setting when you first registered was set for two weeks. To change the frequency of reminders, go to your personal profile page by clicking "My home" in the box in the upper left column of any page. Then click on the "Edit" tab and scroll down to the reminder section. There you will find a scroll down menu where you can select the frequency of reminders that you would like. You will need to click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page in order for the change to take effect.
Links in box go blank
On the Internet Explorer browser only, there is a problem with links in the box at the top of the left column going blank. It is a glitch we have yet been unable to fix. If this happens, simply click on the refresh button in your browser and the links will reappear. We recommend using the Firefox browser for this center. Firefox is a free download available to everyone at this link.
At the top of the box in the left column of every page is a link titled "My home." This will take you to your personal profile page. On this page you will find the information you submitted when you first registered for the course along with the feedback you've entered for each lesson. On the right side of the page, you will find links to all of the lessons you have completed plus the next one, so that you can easily find the link to each succeeding lesson after you've entered your feedback.
You will also find an "Edit" tab on your home page. This tab brings you to a page where you can change your email address, location information, and password. You can also change the time set for email reminders sent to you here. These reminders are automatically sent after the time interval you have specified if you have not accessed this center for that amount of time. A subtag titled "About me" also allows you to change or add to the original information you submitted about yourself when you first registered.
The box in the left column of every page has a link titled "My messages." When you click on this link, the page will be blank if you have not submitted any messages yet. Once you've submitted messages, all messages you've sent will be listed here, so that you can easily find them and see how many responses have been made and who was the last guide to respond. Feel free to send a test message using the "New message" link just to say hi and see how this works.
The "New message" link in the box at the top of the left column of any page is for you to submit a message or request to be answered. We have a number of guides available to respond to your messages. All of these guides have completed the course and are exceptional members of our team. If ever you have any questions or would like some support, don't hesitate to use this link. Please leave the status of your message as "Open" when you submit it. However, do choose a type of message from the dropdown menu provided.

If you would like to have all of your information in this support center removed, click here and select "please remove me" from the dropdown menu there and then click "Apply." This is not an automatic function, so it may take a day or two before a course administrator completes your request.
